At Orbital Fabrications, we specialise in precision welding techniques, and Lathe TIG Welding is one of our core services. Lathe TIG Welding combines the precision of a lathe machine with the finesse of TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding. It’s an ideal welding process for creating consistent, high-quality welds on machined components, tubes, and fittings. Our state-of-the-art lathe system is equipped with a programmable control unit operated through an integrated PC-controller. It also supports an integrated or external data acquisition system. The result? Versatile, precision welding that consistently produces repeatable welds. As well as this, we also have an integrated wire feed unit which allows us to weld larger wall thicknesses using multi run techniques. Lathe TIG welding is perfect for stainless steel components, where precision matters.
