Orbital is set to expand its horizons as it heads to SEMICON Europa as an exhibitor for the first time in the company’s near-40-year history. Taking place at Munich’s exhibition centre between 18 and 21 November, 2025, the show is a key meeting place for the semiconductor sector in Europe and beyond. Orbital is the preferred choice for high-purity gas delivery systems in many semiconductor and wafer manufacturing plants in the UK, as well as in the research community that supports the industry. Its expertise is evident in its advanced system design capabilities, and its extensive manufacturing facilities, which incorporate CNC machining, expertise in a variety of welding techniques—notably orbital welding, the ‘gold standard’ for purity and integrity—and wide-ranging cleanroom assembly and testing facilities. Orbital also the only approved Swagelok tube welder in Europe granted from the USA.
In evidence throughout the UK’s semicon manufacturing base and beyond, Orbital’s signature Valve Manifold Box (VMB) is recognised as the mark of a quality for high-purity gas delivery systems, and perfectly demonstrates Orbital’s expertise in the sector. Designed and manufactured by Orbital to suit the specific requirements of each project, the VMB features dual containment throughout, to minimise any risk of exposure to toxic, pyrophoric or flammable gases.
The company’s in-house capabilities are mirrored by a large site team, responsible for installing and subsequently maintaining and certifying systems, often via a permanent on-site presence. Each installation is backed by comprehensive documentation with a range of industry accreditations.
Part of Sweden’s Bergman & Beving Group since December 2023, Orbital is on a rapid growth trajectory, following the recent award of its largest-ever contract, plus the acquisition of Modus Gauges, an established supplier of components to the semiconductor and other advanced manufacturing sectors.
